Carl joined the company in March from MAN Direct Sales where he covered the Black Country and Worcestershire area for 2 years. Previously Carl has covered the Birmingham territory for Renault Trucks for 4 years.
Carl is a keen supporter of West Bromwich Albion FC and Worcester Warriers RFC and when time allows enjoys a game of golf. Carl also enjoys family holidays in the Lake District and South West of England.

John Pritchard

John started working life in 1962 as an apprentice for Scammell in Watford. After a period as a draughtsman at Scammell he left to join Hands Trailers Ltd as a Sales Engineer. He then moved into Trailer sales.
There followed a period working for an associated company who were introducing air suspension to European Transport Industry.
From there he moved to York Trailers Ltd in various roles, ending up as Manager for the South Wales branch.
After a short period working for as General Manager for a Haulage Company and a Dodge/Renault Commercial Vehicles Dealer he moved to Iveco UK Ltd.
John worked for Iveco for 21 years in various Fleet and Regional jobs until retiring in December 2004.
John was tempted back into the industry by Bristol Street Commercials initially as a part time Aftersales Consultant. With his experience of the industry, John was then made Caretaker Sales Manager for seven months while Bristol Street were recruiting a new Sales Manager.
John now looks after the development of the Fiat Franchise in Swindon.
During any spare time, John is a family man and keen (but sometimes inconsistent) golfer and has a large interest in stage management.

George Ashwell

George has worked in the Commercial Vehicle trade since 1977 and began his career with Avis Truck Rental in Bristol until they closed their UK Operation in 1982.
George then took a career break in the French Alps where he learned how to Ski and speak French. He quickly realised that this was all too good to be true and returned to Bristol in 1987 and soon found himself back in the Truck Contract Hire business again with Lex Transfleet, Eurohire and Bryan Brothers Trucks.
In 2000 he moved to Commercial Sales whilst still with Bryan Brothers selling Iveco’s range of vehicles. In 2003 Bryan Brothers closed their Truck Division and Bristol Street Commercials took over the franchise. George has been with us ever since.
His hobbies are Rugby, Football (still playing!), ski ing and ornithology. George also holds a CPC (Home and International and a HGV class 3 licence.

Mark Jephcott

Mark was born in Birmingham and moved to Australia for the first three years of his life. He then moved to Zambia for the next three years before moving back to England. In 1967 Mark immigrated to Canada were he remained until 2000 when he moved back to England. After graduation in 1976 he went straight into the Automotive Industry in a Parts Department, then Service before eventually moving into Sales where he has been for the last 20 years. Over this time he has gained a large amount of experience in corporate leasing and contract hire with a number of manufacturers such as Renault, Nissan, Vauxhall and in Canada with General Motors and Hyundai. Mark has held Management roles at dealership and manufacturer level with Hyundai Auto Canada.
Mark brings lots of skills and experience to the table and we feel he can give the customer the service and confidence they require.

Keith Philpott

Keith has been in the Truck industry since they were called “lorries”. Keith worked within the Ford Truck network for many years and went on to work for Mercedes and Volvo trucks. Having achieved success in the Truck and Van markets Keith decided to turn from “poacher to gamekeeper” and joined EXEL firstly as Transport Controller then after gaining his CPC National and International spent the last few years as the Transport Manager and Operators Licence holder on the BMW contract in Swindon. After nearly 12 years on this contract Keith decided the position did not offer him the challenges or excitement anymore that Commercial Sales always did and started to look for a return to the Truck sales environment and the rest they say is history!
Keith has been married to Traci for 23 years and has two children, Josh and Emilie (17 & 12 years of age). Keith also has many sporting interests but his main passion is Rugby (member of London Irish RFC). Keith also follows Chelsea FC and enjoys skiing, car rallying and surfing.

Karls expertise lies in Trucks having been with Iveco for the past 15 years. He also has experience in dealing with multi franchise car and van sales gained from the Cowie/Arriva group. Since joining Bristol Street Group at the beginning of February Karl has been enjoying the additional opportunities of being able to offer all his customers a full range of vehicles, ‘a one stop shop’ really does happen here.
